There are many cityscape and architectural exterior photography out there. But there are few photos of one of the most beautiful city in the world which is Baku.

Baku has a circular and logical structure from birth. It's a finely settled since first time its built. You can see a frame in everywhere you walked.

However when it comes to Aida's way of seeing things, those ordinary frames can turn into a poetry. I know Aida has the soul of a poet. She is able to see the emotions even behind cold concrete. That is why her cityscape photography always contains a lot of emotions. I don't know she's doing this consciously or subconsciously but I am pretty sure she's not %100 conscious about this - just as other successful and creative artists.

On this particular photo Aida created a framing that gives you all the artistic and technicals things you look for in a photograph. Correct vanishing point, finely used repeating patterns, well balanced horizon line. From clock to ornamental pool, and from the buildings to street lamps all are very well used to create the mood. And as the timing - the guy who walks alone there completes the almost perfect composition.

And these days which digital photography equals to color - she was courageous enough to produce in black and white.

This is so far my favorite cityscape / street photography. Enjoyed every second to looking at it. Not just that I found a total resemblances within me about walking alone - which I usually do in my life. But also technical quality to enjoy and lots of emotions to feel when observing it.

Looking forward to see more like this...
